IMCA Super Nationals registration opens July 15 (1)

BOONE, Iowa (June 28, 2024) – IMCA drivers in seven divisions can make all their reservations for the 42ndannual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s beginning July 15.

Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod, Sport Compact, Late Model and Mod Lite drivers must register online for the Sept. 2-7 Super Nationals at Boone Speedway. Links to driver registration, pit stall reservations and camping forms are atwww.imcasupernationals.com.

“Reservations for camping spots are already being taken,” noted IMCA President Brett Root. “The driver registration and pit stall reservation processes are less labor intensive since they were switched to online only, so we feel comfortable starting those in mid-July.”

Drivers must have a valid 2024 IMCA license and are required to register for Super Nationals before reserving a pit stall(s). Registration fees of $50 for Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Northern SportMods and Mod Lites, and $25 for Sport Compacts include and entry fees for the Aug. 31-Sept. 1 Prelude.

Late Model registration fee is also $50. Pit passes are $35 both nights of the Prelude and Monday through Friday during Super Nationals, and $40 on Saturday.

Modifieds and Stock Cars run on Saturday, Hobby Stocks, Northern SportMods and Sport Compacts on Sunday and Mod Lites both nights of the Prelude.

Complete programs for Late Models are Labor Day Sept. 2 and Sept. 3 for Sport Compacts. The B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational is Sep. 5, the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational is Sept. 6 and main events for Northern SportMods, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars and Modifieds are on Sept. 7.

The Modified champion takes home $10,000, the Stock Car champ $8,000. The Northern SportMod main event pays $5,000 to win, both Late Model and Hobby Stock mains pay $3,000 to win, the Mod Lite main pays $2,000 and the Sport Compact main pays $1,250.

Tentatively, the Stephenville Starter Race of Champions for Hobby Stocks and Pulse Racing Innovations Race of Champions for Northern SportMods return to the Tuesday show and both the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars and Rage Chassis Race of Champions for Modifieds to Saturday’s show.

“While there are variables we have absolutely no control over, in particular the weather and car counts, the Super Nationals schedule will be very similar to last year,” said Root. “Still to be determined are when we schedule last-chance races for Stock Cars and Modifieds.”

“There are simply so many things that have to be done in the months leading up to Super Nationals, no easy task considering we’re just getting into the busiest part of the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season now,” he added. “We’ll continue to finalize details and get projects done even after we’ve arrived at Boone for the Prelude.”

The biggest physical and most visible project to be completed before Super Nationals will be renovating the infield stage/victory lane area. Trophy presentations will continue to be made in the NAPA Fan Zone.

Also, 20 new 15×20 power pit stalls will be added south of the main pit entrance.

In all, a purse of more than $300,000 will be paid and another $60,000 in contingencies awarded at the upcoming Super Nationals.

Information about the Prelude and entire week of Super Nationals, both to be broadcast by IMCA.TV, will be updated atwww.imcasupernationals.com.
