Game storylines:
- Matthews has opened the season with Hattricks in each of his first 2 games. Can he make it a hat trick hat trick?
- Bedard has come into the league and has gotten quite a bit of media attention. We get to see him in the center of hockey for the first time. Expecting to hear his name quite often tonight whether he plays well or not.
- Woll gets his first start of the season after an impressive season last year. He had 6 wins, 1 loss with a .932 sv% and 2.16 GAA
- New look to the middle 6. Domi and Jarnkrok have been swapped which Keefe feels gives the lines more balance.

Would love the following tonight:
- Matthews with another hatty (obv)
- Knies and Minten clicking together for a goal
- Reaves finishes a HARD check on Perry, winding him and making him unable to get up right away (standing ovation from the crowd)
- Marner and/or Tavares with their first goal of the season
- Woll robs Bedard point blank and has a great game, making the decision difficult for Keefe to go back right away to .839 sv% Sammy
- Bedard to score a goal (yeah right j/k)
A solid 5-1 win I’d be very happy with

Team needs to win this game decisively. This is a bottom feeder with limited offensive talent.

I don't think Toronto will give up even 2 goals. I can easily see this one being a shutout.

We should do well here, but the guys have a habit of dropping these types of games. Anything under 2 is fine by me

I’ve been watching him whenever I have the chance. The guys gonna be a great one no doubt. Hope he can stay healthy long enough for Chicago to put a decent team around him

Monday night at home against a bottom feeder with either a young star or a home town kid?
If you do sports betting, throwing a bet on Chicago would be smart. Vegas odds never account for Leafy habits. Like the odds against the Coyotes when we play them, and we haven't beaten them in how many tries? It's just smart based on the return. Betting on Bedard for some sort of offensive output would be smart too.
Not to be a negative Nancy, looking forward to the game and hopefully a win. Just a little gambling tip lol.
